We recently received an inquiry from homeowners in Landisville PA who were referred to us by friends who had Zen replacement windows installed in their home.
Although their home was built in 1987, the windows were starting to become drafty, inefficient and difficult to keep clean. They’d also spent many years trying to keep water damage at bay by installing pieces of plastic on the exterior of their home.
After receiving multiple quotes from other companies and experiencing some high-pressure salespeople, they contacted Zen Windows…
Initially, they’d heard some information that was misleading.
They were told that foam filled frames and sashes on replacement windows would deteriorate over time. After showing them a corner-cut sample like this one, they agreed that deterioration wouldn’t be an issue.
They also were told a number of different things regarding capping the exterior in maintenance free aluminum coil.
Then they had to decide which color would compliment their home the best. After reviewing several options, they chose a sierra exterior color and our soft-white interior.
You may also notice on the picture above that the window has a full screen that is nearly invisible. On this project we used all Flex Screen products to accomplish better sight lines and an easy to remove screen.
The front view…
Shortly after the project was finished, we received these comments from the client:
“We are very pleased with the windows.
The installation team did a great job and we’re done in four hours!
Very friendly too. They cleaned up nicely.”
